How do I purchase a Photograph from the Art Store?

Once you have made your decision about which photo to buy, click on the order link next to your selection. That will take you to our purchase page, where you will simply follow the instructions to checkout. Please note that you will need to use a credit card (MasterCard,Visa, Amex) for your online purchase.

We use an authorized website approved by InternetSecure to make purchases.  For additional security, your credit card number is NOT kept on our system or passed to the website.

How do I purchase a Famous Dates Reprint from the Art Store?

Famous Date Reprints is a collection of pre-selected Globe and Mail newspaper front pages. Each reflects an important event or date from our past.

How do I purchase any Full-Page Reprint from The Globe and Mail?

Dates from 2003 forward are made available from high quality pdf images and in colour only where applicable. Otherwise, all reprints will be in black & white.

Note that for digital full–page reprints from earlier dates (our collection goes back to 1849), the quality is limited to the microfilm image available.

Reprint orders from microfilm are fulfilled by Preston Microfilming Services, an agent operating on behalf of The Globe and Mail.

What sizes are available?

Photographs

We offer 11”x14” and 16”x20” for our Photo Collection.

All photo prints are done on museum grade, acid-free archival paper with archival matting.  In addition, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Publisher of The Globe and Mail.

Famous Dates and Full page reprints

We offer 16”x 20” of our Famous Dates and Full Page Reprints. Please note that the actual image size may vary due to the changing size of the newspaper over the past 160 years.

IMPORTANT measurements for mounting our framed items :  

A 11" x 14" print, when framed and matted is 17 " x 21 ½ "

A 16" x 20" print, when framed and matted is 23" x 27 ½”

Pricing does not include taxes or delivery. All funds quoted in Canadian dollars.

Can you tell me about shipping and delivery? When can I expect to receive my order?

Photos are shipped using reinforced packaging or tubing. We use courier services within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and FEDEX, outside of the GTA.

What if there is damage to my prints from shipping?

Requests for returns due to shipping damage must be made within 3 days of receipt of your order.   Please contact 416-861-0544 or email ron@customartconcepts.com and let the courier service know as soon as possible that shipping damages have occurred.

We are not responsible for any damages that occur during any framing or mounting that you do.

This is an electronic watermark. Purchased photos will NOT have this mark.
